We have been busy with birthday cakes here at Sweets by Stefanee lately! I had my first official cake order for a friend’s birthday last week. It was so much fun creating a design and trying out new techniques to create something that would make her birthday special! After that, I designed a cake to celebrate my 2nd year anniversary of my business. This business has become such a huge part of my life, it feels like I’ve been doing it forever (in a good way!). And now this week I am doing another birthday cake, for my cousin’s Sweet 16 birthday party! It’s been busy, but I have really enjoyed it! I love learning new ways to decorate cakes, and it’s so rewarding to be able to be a part of someone’s special day.

I also tried out a recipe for dairy-free chocolate chip cookies, and I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious they were! I was able to use my normal chocolate chip cookie recipe, and substitute dairy free products for the butter, cream cheese, and chocolate chips. The results were very similar to my original chocolate chip cookies! I get many requests for dairy free items, so I will continue to work on dairy free versions of the items I sell!
